Hi, I’m Kojo. I speak the Farefare language.
So do about 845,000 other people! Most live
in Ghana, but some live in Burkina Faso too.
That’s the country just north of Ghana.
You want to hear something
exciting? In 2008 we got the
whole Bible. Now we can
read what God has said
from Genesis all the way to
Revelation, in Farefare!

Meet Kojo. He lives
in Ghana. Did you know
it’s popular in Ghana to name your
baby after the day of the week they are
born on? Kojo means “Monday,” because
that’s the day he was born. That’s a
pretty cool fact!
But although we
have the whole
Bible in our
language, not
everyone can
read it. Some
people had a
really great idea.
